2002 Swedish Bris Childrens Care Hockey Forum

Ran across this set in the name validation area. It is listed as a hockey set with kids pictured. One is Mats Sundin and another Kenny Brack who we know. 

The other kids pictured are not hockey players and do not have PIDs. For instance, Ljubomir Vranjes is a Swedish handball player and coach and Olle Sarri is a Swedish actor. Kristin Kaspersen is a Swedish TV Host and Ola Lindholm a Swedish TV personality.

So my question is do we add PIDs and if so how and where should we for these non hockey individuals? Vranjes could go under Multi Sport but only has a hockey set card. Or is this set not hockey?

People should have their PIDs created for the category they are known for. For example, the TV personality should be created under Non-Sport (if not there already).

This is clearly not a hockey set and whoever added it there did so incorrectly.

Ok, thats what I thought about set location. I can do IR asking to move the set first.

I searched the other categories but didn't see Vranjes or Sarri. If the set is moved to Non-Sport I can create PIDs for the TV/Actors but Vranjes(handball) would be Multi-Sport. I'm trying to recall if that works for the Vranjes scenario; will it create a Multi-Sport PID if this card is under Non-Sport and he doesn't have any other cards? I'm thinking they have to have a card to create a PID?

When you are on the screen to add a new PID, there is a drop down for selecting which category to put the new PID in. It defaults to the category the set is in (except when in Multi-Sport, it defaults to baseball), but can always be changed.

I know what you are referring to about a dropdown but when I "edit name" and try to add new name from the card it does not have the dropdown. It's just set on Hockey.

I just checked the same card. I have the drop down menu option. Could it have to do with permission levels?

If that is the case feel free to send me links to personal info and I can create the PIDs for you.

I see the same thing as Dan. I'm betting it's a Level 8 permission to select a new category for a PID when a set is under a specific sport.

I am Level 6 with enough points to qualify for Level 7 on Oct 10th (1 YR).

I have seen that dropdown before (maybe in the multi-sport sets) just not showing up for me on this one. Here is Vranjes bio info if someone wants to add his PID. I can add others once it is moved to set correct category.
