Out of the two 2020 upper deck fat packs I purchased I received 24 sets of dupes (48) and 2 singles, 2 different inserts out of 52. What a joke. Plus many bent corners.
i did get a Connor Mcdavid dazzler tho but still. I'm done with hockey.

Wow that would be infuriating. And I bet they weren't cheap. Sorry to hear that.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

That's a bummer. I had bought a new old stock blaster of 2019-20 MVP and didn't get a single duplicate. I was very impressed, considering that was my first purchase in years. A couple of weeks ago, I bought 3 fat packs of 2020-21 MVP and 2 of them were the exact same, so I can sympathize with you on that a little bit.

Not funny. Was the packaging intact? I would contact Upper Deck customer service to let them know. Possible that they will send you a little something to help you swallowing the pill.

Why be done? Just get one pack next time and still get to enjoy new releases and spend other half of money on singles for your want list.

I feel your initial disappointment. I had very similar with 20-21 UD Series I. I was happy to actually find Series I at Walmart. I purchased 1 blaster and 1 Mega type box. Total cards between the boxes was 146 and there were 37 base doubles and 1 insert card double. So just over 25% cards were double from boxes bought on the same shelf at same time. I know it is what it is, but seems a bit excessive and not the greatest distribution.
If you have any of the Blackhawks I didn't get and you want ones from my trade list doubles, I'm up for a trade!

I got my hobby box in the mail today. It had packs that were the exact same cards, twice I came across that. I ended up with 130 base cards and five Young Guns. Then I got 41 duplicates.
On the plus side I did get two jersey cards, where there are normally only one.

Just bought a box of 20-21 Series 1 for Xmas..will be a month before I know what I got..
I was disappointed last year...Bought boxes of Series 1 and 2, both boxes had zero doubles (which I guess is good) but there was no randomness to the inserts, etc. All very predictbale..
