I noticed on this set, there are errors/variations like other sets. On other sets, cards are lettered A and B, etc. Why is this set different and lacking A and B?

Which cards are variations?
If you're talking 32 (32a) and 33 (33a), those are the actual numbers on those 4 cards, so they're already "different" and no need for our arbitrary a/b notation.

I believe the push on the site is to get away from using A/B numbering. Admin has implemented a new system allowing the entry of repeating card numbers to get away from that. I'm guessing this set hasn't been updated yet.

The push is to move away from having the a/b/c's in the actual number field (unless it is ON the card, as is the case in this set with 32a and 33a). If the set has 2 different cards that are both numbered 44, then we need to mark them as VAR's and in Note2 describe the VAR with "VAR:" being the first 4 characters in Note2, then the extra field for card number comes into play - enter the a and b in that. That is where the push is.
