2019 Panini Illusions Football Forum

Please help me identify which one version is the Hobby and which one is the retail version?   I know they are different players but the color of the card are different.

I don't know if others need this to help, but knowing the set and card number would help me.

Joshua, this is from 2019 Panini Illusions. The Kyler Murray card is the 1st card in the set. No images have been uploaded to the base set. The retail set does not have a checklist uploaded yet. I think you might have the Retail Murray, but I'm not 100% sure though.

Figured it was 2019 Panini Illusions Football.

Don't know how to tell the difference. That is what I hate about having differences between Hobby and Retail. I can understand them seeding Hobby boxes with better "hits" and adding more cards per box, I can even understand making the Hobby cards of better sturdier card stock than the retail but this whole variation thing makes me mad as all get out.

Most likely the Murray one is retail due to the hobby red version is numbered to 50 in the bottom right corner on the front of the card.

The Sapphire parallels like Guice are not numbered and I have not seen anything yet about different versions of the player's picture.

I'm assuming right now retail cards will never be numbered as I pulled an Ed Oliver Bronze Rookie Signs auto from a retail box and it was not numbered. I found several others being sold on ebay not numbered also so that is probably the telling point of the difference between hobby and retail.

my thicker card has gold lettering. I am assuming this is the base set.. and the retail is  thinner with black lettering?
