2020 Topps Baseball Forum

Looks like there are a substantial amount of "error" cards popping up that don't have the "Topps" foil logo printed on them. Would this be something we should add here? 
 

There's been nothing from Topps about them so I'm assuming they are true error cards. 

If you search eBay for "2020 Topps no logo" you'll see a bunch. 

Cards missing the foil process are considered one-offs and are not listed here.

UNLESS Topps did it on purpose! The cards are very new, so is it possible they made a retail version without foil for the logo? Or even a no-foil parallel? I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it as a printing problem until more info is known about the overall product.

No, there is no non-foil parallel

I believe those are called "Topps Opening Day".

Sorry to kick this dead horse again, but since there are versions with and without the logo, shouldn't they be treated as ERR/CORR versions?  I can't find ANYTHING official with them as being intentional, but as with a reverse negative in the junk era, those are listed with the sets.....

Actually the missing foil logo would be a printing issue and not an error, whereas the picture on the card and the accompanying text are the editorial process, so those are the true errors.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could send the cards back to the company and get replacements? They screwed up... why should I need to purchase more just to get the proper cards.
