2019 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Forum

I opened two more boxes after being disappointed by getting a not so Hot Box previously. And I am glad I did. 7 very decent hits, (with an AU in each box) instead of the promised 6.

In one of the boxes tonight I got the Triple Rip Boxtopper. Nolan Ryan SN60. I have never received a Rip card before. A market search shows not many Triple Rips out there. The prices for unripped are quite high. But the contents, the three exclusives, are also very high.

To the membership, do I rip or not rip??? What would you do?

If you are selling it, do not rip it. If you plan to keep it, RIP the hell out of it, lol!

This is one reason I avoid buying A&G. I know the odds aren't great that I would pull a rip card like this, but I don't know if I'd ever be able to decide what to do with it. Good luck with whatever you do!

I wish I could say I understand your dilemma! I've seen 1 of 1 sketches to very low numbered autos. I'd rip it me, recording while I did it! Congratulations either way!

You can always rip it. You can never unrip it.

I guess it’s up to what’s important to you. If it’s making money; sell it on eBay un-ripped. It’s a sure thing to make you money. Ripping is always a gamble. If it’s something you will keep and not worried about the money rip it. I rather have sure thing money over chance money.
