I'm Michael and just joined the Forum yesterday. It's really great to be here and a pleasure to meet all of you.

I recently saw a box of these cards go on Ebay for $6,600.00. I have been looking for one of these boxes and wanted to get some opinons if these boxes are really worth that price to purchase. It seems a lot to me.

Welcome to the site. here's my short answer on the question. Heck no!

Explaination: Amongst other things, the price is jacked up because of the current flipper market. And while there was a smaller print run of this product, this is well over 30x the original sell price. What people are hoping for are pulling an Ohtani RC (Devers and few others a tier lower) and hoping it's a PSA10. Or hoping to pulling "name" autographs, again looking for PSA10. With the number of cards in the box and total set size it's very long odds.

However, if you have the money to burn and willing to gamble let us know how you make out.

I agree. That price is wayyyyy to high and for the same reason. Wal-Mart's and other stores in my area have stopped selling card lacks because people are buying them at mass and selling them for the utmost outrageous prices. It's a crazy world out there.

As many people say. It is only worth what someone will pay for it. If you are willing to pay that price then its worth it.
