From a quick search on eBay, there are at least 4 cards from the August issue:

Don Mattingly
Cal Ripken, Jr.
Ken Griffey, Jr.
Michael Jordan

They are not numbered like the cards from the September issue and have a different style border. There are gold and silver parallels (I have the Mattingly in both versions). The silver seems to be rarer, which I think is the case for the September issue as well.

Not sure what if anything should change here without a complete August checklist, but thought it was worth noting here.
