2004 Topps All-Time Fan Favorites Baseball Forum

Hi, I have been trying to complete the 2004 Topps All-TIme Fan Favorites Refractor Set (SN299) for several years.  But I am stumped on this card.  All others I have at least seen in auctions.  But...

I have never ever seen the #15 Bob Sheppard Refractor SN299 from this set.  I have searched google, etc and followed ebay, Sportslots and Comc for many years on the set refractors and have not seen a single auction containing it.  I have never seen it in any lots of these sets.  I inquired to Topps last year and was politely told they don't keep set records for more than the current year.  That's a whole other thread.  I know it is not necessarily a flattering picture (I have several of the base cardboard card), so please keep to the facts. 

Can anyone help confirm that they actually produced this card?  Below is the link to the card in the set.

PS - I am looking for the #84 Alan Trammel Refractor as well.  I know that one exists.

Gavin of Baseball Card Breakdown blog(he is a member here as well) is also collecting this set. If anyone would know, and possibly have duplicates to trade, it'd be him.

You stumped me. I'm seeing some autographed versions of the base. But yeah, no sign anywhere of the refractor version.

According to BaseballCardPedia.com the answer would be yes. Topps did issue 2004 Topps All-Time Favorites Refractors Serial #ed to 299. A parallel to the base set.

Hi Dicefoot, I have diligently checked every web site and even contacted tops to no avail.  Every site lists the card as part of the set, but there has never been a listing on eBay, Comc, sportslots, Amazon, or Beckett.  I started collecting these about 2013 so I can't confirm the existence of it. 
 

but no image search or checking on worthpoint etc reveals any trace of it.  So I'm hoping some of the site "sleuths" can help or know.

I too have been looking for this card. I completed the 2004 ATFF refractor set (minus #15) back in 2005. Have been looking for it for 16 years and I am convinced it was never made.

I was able to complete the 2003 ATFF refractor set (1-150). 

I am sure you thought about this but did you check to see if any were graded?  Didn't see that in the posts recently.
