I noticed the following auction listing on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-Leaf-Perfect-Game-JORDON-ADELL-Auto-1-1-JO-Game-Worn-Patch-PA-JA2-Relic/124316509682
...nothing wrong with the listing, or the seller, but the card's origin is questionable.
I have the real Jordon Adell 2016 Leaf Perfect Game National Showcase game-worn patch, auto, 1/1, golden rainbow, etc. - see my profile pic - which has a piece of his jersey with the Nike "swoosh". The card's front design, back text and numbering are identical to the card in the auction.
Why would Leaf produce a second, one-of-one "authentic game-worn patch" card that just has a piece of a random game-used baseball?
I suppose semantically, a player could "wear" a baseball by hitting it with his bat, or by handling it roughly on the mound - but I don't think that's a legitimate defense for Leaf's use of a non-uniform piece of material in a unique "game-worn patch" card.
