1991 Topps Baseball Forum

Good Afternoon,

I have been going through my cards and found this Mike Henneman card in the 1991 Topps 40th anniversary set.  I have almost 200 cards from this set and non of the others have this marking.  I have also looked all over google with nothing.  As you can see, it is almost a perfect circle and had to have been done while printing.  But from what I have seen online, there is not another one of its kind at least up for sale and I can't even locate another example of this marker/error.  I do not know where to look from here.  I reached out to Topps and they told me to try Beckett and another company.  Neither one has responded to me for over a week.  I would really like to know what it is and if it brings value to the card at all

That's flaw in the inking - an air bubble got in it and left an artifact.

It's considered a print flaw here and is not anything that can be listed.

Commonly called a "fish eye".
