Definitely not an ERR. IMHO, not even a VAR, just a print alignment issue.

I am with C2C with this one. It just is an alignment issues. I am sure we could find other cards in the set that have the same alignment issue is we were to search.

Watch out we might start another "fight" on here. FTR, not casting a stone one way or another. If, per chance, we recalssify this as simply an alignment issue (and discuss deletion), then there are other sets where there will be flow-down effect to include Fleer Stickers. With the number of people claiming one or both versions I think VAR is an appropriate change. And to make it more interesting, the one marked as the ERR is actually just like all the other White Sox cards in regards to where the TM is located. The "ERR" is actually the correction version of the card it looks.

For now, I have changed these to be VARs. If someone can prove that this is a "register thing" (which would mean we would see these "TMs" in MANY locations, not just 2), then we can talk removing the VAR completely. If the TM only is found in exactly 2 positions, that is clear that the plate was adjusted.

I just pulled up the Braves cards. There are 33 cards (including 2 CL and 1 RB cards) and out of the 30 regular player cards the CR logo moves on the cards. #139 Treadway, the CR logo is just below the black stroke inside the yellow banner. #157 Smoltz, the CR logo is touching the black stroke. #196 Vatcher, the logo is well below the black stroke inside the yellow banner. #418 Esasky, the CR logo is close to midway in the yellow banner.
Most of the Braves CR logos were either touching the black stroke or just below inside of the yellow banner, but there are definitly more than 2 locations.

There is a huge difference between the TM or R moving between players and being in different locations on the SAME card.
What I'm asking about is if there is evidence of the TM on say the Ken Patterson in more than 2 spots.
On Treadway, is the CR in more than one location or is it always in the same spot on that card?

I looked over a bunch on comc.com. It might be a plate adjustment, thus a VAR.

I can't speak for site rules, but variation collectors such as myself recognize this as a sought after variant of the Patterson card.

As I was going through my traders, I think I had 8 of them, 4 of each, but only in the 2 locations as shown on the database. Small sample size but probably accurate enough.
And no, I did not look at all the other cards in the set to see if any others had the same issue. I will let those who chase these VAR do that work, just like they all did when it came to a dot or no dot.
