Clear Cut Acetate

Hi,

I assumed that clear cut and acetate were two descriptions for the same card.

According to Beckett these are two different cards e.g. for the Young Guns card of Martin Necas the follwing cards are listed:

2017-18 Upper Deck Acetate Young Guns #464 Martin Necas YG

2017-18 Upper Deck Clear Cut #464 Martin Necas YG

Is this right and - if so - what is the difference between these versions?!

Without even looking, are Clear Cut die-cut? ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*

No. I just looked ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Let me reiterate...the scan I saw isnt die cut. It could be wrong. There is no set called Acetate on TCDB. ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Considering our hobby was founded as an unethical marketing ploy to get people to buy cigarettes, cookies, tea, etc., we probably can't complain too much! ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year.
