I'm in the process of uploading my Trade List of this set and noticed that my cards have a different back than what's uploaded already. I only did a small sampling, but each one seems to have the same back, while the 30+ cards I have all have a different bottom such as this one:
Am I in the wrong set, or are the current backs wrong?

It's the right set, I just think the user who uploaded the back scans just altered them and left the code off the scan. I'm not sure why because the code expiration had passed when they uploaded the scans.

My guess would be that by cutting off the code, whoever uploaded the images could then just use one image for the entire set instead of scanning a multitude of backs. Assuming no one ever questioned it like Sportzcommish, it would have never been changed. Call it laziness or point-mining or any other multitude of things
If you're going to upload an entire set of back images that are the same, at least make sure you do it correctly.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Even though it's frowned upon here, I'm okay with it because codes would probably not be printed twice. Think of all the variations that could be added if we treated each code as a different variation of a card.

I'm okay with adding back scans to a complete set, as long as it's done correctly. It has no effect on me. But I would think here, by cutting that code off, the scan becomes incomplete.
I would certainly not advocate for marking each card as a variation due to a different code on the back. But a complete scan should be entered, per site guidelines.
Again, this is personal feelings above anything else here, but yeah, absolutely no way should different codes like that be variations. You're right; that would be a monster.

Submit an IR to remove each altered card image.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Technically those codes were still valid when the uploader posted the first one.
Cards ALG01, BEL02, BEL08, etc say
