1990 Upper Deck Baseball Forum

So I have a Geronimo Berro, John Farrell, & Craig Biggio that have no number on the back.  I looked at the oodball sets to see if there was another form of Upper Deck out there, but there isn' anything listed.  I'm wondering if anyone knows of any others in existence.  I haven't done a great detailed search, but haven't seen any yet.

That USUALLY means that they are promos...but not always. Could be an as-yet unreported error. I've got a few in my collection that also are without any number at all, I've been trying for a decade and a half to find out more about them, but probably promos is the best I've ever gotten. Hope that helps! 

I shouldn't assume, but they must be more rare and slightly, by pennies, if lucky dimes, more expensive then the "correct" card...but thank you for getting back to me on that...

When UD came out in 1989 I know of a few lowlifes that used a pink pencil eraser to remove text from the glossy cards, claiming that they were rare errors. I do not doubt that there were pre-production or promo cards without numbers, but just be wary because they are to easy to fake.
