The drudgery has ended, or probably only postponed, as I've gotten all my '90 Donruss organized. I'm pooped, and I only have about 2K, much less than some others have stated. And still this set has more fixing to be done to it. At least I'll be ready to separate these when it happens. I'll be armed with cards in numerical order and a magnifying glass to search for periods or decorative blotches, etc.
I used to like '90 Donruss; now we don't talk very much.

I’ve got an unopened wax box on the shelf with your name on it if you want to reignite the old flame

If you could GUARANTEE that it had those elusive Ryan cards, I'd gladly take them.

When the like has moved to not liking to talk very much it's pretty difficult to rekindle the old flame. I think it would need a promise of potential new wealth to rekindle this. Perhaps a newly discovered variation that just sold for several thousand dollars? Otherwise, it sounds like this relationship has ended. Sometimes you just have to be willing to walk away.

We'd have to split 50/50. I guess it'd be ironic no matter who kept the ERR cards.

Yup, one of the sets that I have over 10,000 just commons plus many doubles of the stars I collect plus a few complete sets. Mine have been in order for a few years and just every so often someone asks for a card from my Traders. The VAR you will see show up in quantity will be the black lines across the names. Of course if someone counts the dots on the borders of the cards, we could see many more VAR.
Never did like the bright red borders so never was high on my list of sets I liked. Only have so many because of acquiring very large lots from sellers getting outof the hobby.

I decided last year that I would give 20 1990 sets (5 were Donruss) a chance of becoming collectible cards someday. Think recycle..... grind up paper to make new paper.

Yeah, edk, I hear you. I threw away most of the ones that had condition issues, especially if they were a common and not a variant.
