Are these lisenced in any way at all? They look like promos made by a local photogrpaher who was trying to sell their services. I am not sure this belongs in this database? Legends of the Game was a downtown Toronto baseball card store.

You've got a diamond, You've got 9 men, You've got a hat, and a bat, and that's not all. You got the bleachers, got 'em from spring 'til fall. You got a dog, and a drink, and an umpire's call. What do you want? Let's play ball. OK!! [OK!!] Blue Jays!! [Blue Jays!!] Let's! Play! Ball!

I found High FIve Photography online. Apparently, they do specialty photogrpahy for kids in sports. Custom cards and such.

I can't seem to find to find any mention of these outside of this database. Weird.

rmpaq5 who created this set might be able to tell us more about this set. Not sure if he attended the game when these were handed out. I do find it odd that not more cards were issued; I would have thought that at least the starting 9 would have been on the cards.
I believe the 1991 All Star Game was held in Toronto. Is it possible these were handed out at one of the game's promotion days?
Shaw Racing also has the Alomar card in his collection. Maybe he can also tell more.

So someone can make a few cheap looking fake cards and they wind up here?? That's not cool and very sketchy.
So Step two; Must be to price them very high then sell them on E-bay as very rare?

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)

Vaguely remember these cards from the "Fanfest" event held in conjunction with the MLB All-Star game in Toronto.
Other than being unlicensed and featuring prominent advertisements on the back, how are these different from the Score Fanfest set? https://www.tradingcarddb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/76926/1991-Score-All-Star-Fanfest
What criteria for inclusion in the database do these cards not satisfy? It's essentially a stadium giveaway promo set.

To mirror Mark's point with the Joker meme....we have unlicensed card sets all over the database. That is the point of the database to document all cards. Sometimes our definition of "cards" differ, but ADMIN's guidelines are there. These are no different than all the "broder" types of the late 80s early 90s.

I have to agree with rmpaq5. If they exist, I want to know about them. Whether they are legit or licensed doesn't change the fact that somebody probably wants them.

While I am relatively new to this forum, I have been collecting for over 30 years. My Blue Jays collection (77-93) is extensive. I was at Fanfest in 1991 and have absolutely no recollection of these, and cannot imagine that these were given away at SkyDome in any way shape or form.
My thought as far as these cards is that they were completely made up by a local photographer and given out to promote their compnay. Legends of the Game is a former baseball card shop in downtown Toronto.
To include this is like me taking a photo of a baseball player, designing some card and giving it out as a 'promo' for their company completely unlicensed without any permissions. I think that it's a stretch to compare these to what SCORE produced. Any one of us could have made these up. My two cents.
