I contacted Admin, but I don't think they understand:
1984-1991 Topps Gallery of Champions Pewter Bonuses. Every case of "Topps Tiffany" included one of these Pewter Bonus metal cards per year intended for dealers, not consumers. If we have to treat this set as an insert, then they belong as inserts to Topps Tiffany sets and not Topps Gallery of Champion Aluminum, Bronze, or Silver sets. Only 1 type came out each year for a total of 8 Pewter Bonus metal cards. This will make it difficult for collectors to track on this site though, because the:
1983-1991 Topps Gallery of Champions Bronze Premiums were also somewhat of an insert set. These 9 metal cards were released over a period of 9 years in cases of "Topps Traded" for the first few years, and finally in cases of "Topps Gallery of Champions" during the last few years.
Breaking the sets up like this will require collectors to go to Topps Tiffany, Topps Traded, and Topps Gallery of Champion just to inventory their cards on this site. Also, for the Bronze Premiums that were included in Topps Gallery of Champions cases, will we have to go to the Aluminum, Bronze, or Silver sets to find out were to inventory our metal cards since the same card was probably distributed in all 3 cases.
The simple answer is to treat the Pewter Bonuses as a separate set of 8 metal cards like the price guides do..
