Personally, I would remove the quotation marks around the variations. It would make it much easier to read.

Three comments:

1 - They are threr because it is quoting exactly what is on the card. Not including them would make it more difficult to tell what is actually on the card and what is simply part of the desription.

2 - If you think so, please edit all 2,500 cards and let us know how it looks then.

3 - Maybe if you had gotten involved and actually did something to help, you would've been able to say something at that point in time. I love how you wait more than 3 months since this change happened to say something. Oh, don't look now, but the 1991 set has been like that even longer (6 months) and you didn't notice. So, shut it or do something about it.

Like Dan said, quotation marks are required when quoting (citing) what is printed on the card.

Also as Dan has said feel free to edit them all. No wait don't because then we would have to spend a week putting it all back...

This is why I hate the democratization of language.  Good writing follows the rules, not what people 'feel' like doing. 

Proper punctuation makes things easier to read, not harder.  Case in point; Is the significant difference in meaning between these two statements apparent?

See what a difference the lowly comma can make?  Let's not eliminate appropriate punctuation.

Hey guys can we please be civil when andwering questions. There is no reason to answer with ignorance. New members will ge turned away  from the site, Or afraid to ask legitimate questions. Just my 2 cents 

Remember, some members just don't like suggestions, good or bad, so we "bomb" the forum post...Typical...What can I say, but thx.
