The Lee card only printed 363 and is his 1st appearance and only appearance in any Now set. Something I find crazy interesting about these cards are they become rare as soon as the flipper’s (re sellers) run out of them. I have just 3 copies one a BGS 9.5, one at PSA right now and the raw copy that you saw on eBay. I normally won’t budge on price when I only have that few…so the best way to get a card like that is to wait and hope someone sells at auction. I’ll pull the auction later and relist higher…that sometimes brings those cards out of hiding. Though some never surface…take the Ray’s 2017 Road to Opening Day set. The Padres printed just 27 and you can find people willing to sell them (though very costly) but the Ray’s sold 30 and finding the set for sale or even single commons anywhere at any price has been impossible since shortly after release.
Collecting them all is costly and if you don’t get them right away, it can cost you quite a bit more to get the ones you missed. As mentioned above Now is not for everyone, but it’s kind of my obsession and I will help others when I can. I am into Living a little less then some, but I do have them all in quantities…I don’t gush about the art as some do. Some are great but some IMO are train wrecks. I am a big fan of the Throwback Thursday cards as well…most on demand Topps.com products. The Mini’s released paralleling the flagship are crazy cool and crazy limited (150 of the base cards an just 9 of the 83 Base inserts) …but again not for everyone.
If anyone is interested in just your team, I do have people that I buy for when I buy in bulk that get just Yankees or whatever. Also have people that buy all...it’s how I can afford to keep buying all of them myself.
