The set looks awesome, and I'd like to collect them all, but I feel they are way over-priced. There are maybe 5 or so that I'd pay 5 bucks for, and a few I'd pay around 3 for.
No mater how limited these are, that's all they are worth to me, they are going to have to come down a lot for me to bother.

I personally think they should be separate. Just like the Topps team sets are separate from the Topps base. Just my opinion.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
My previous post I didn't chime in on the subjet of Topps "Now" I just talked about team collecting. For the record I do not like them. To me trading card collecting and just about any other type of collecting is about the physical accumulation of a set of somekind, not the accumulation of digital information that when working properly shows you an image. OK OK this is slightly different as you get a physical copy of the card eventually, but they charge $10 bucks or something like that don't they? As some people have mentioned, when your team doesn't have many spectacular plays or events they get snubbed with stuff like this. I've seen some card bloggers show cards they have purchased or thought about buying and I really am not that impressed enough.

I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies).
Can pretty much answer any questions concerning Topps Now, if folks are intrested. I know many older collectors don't like the on line on demand products but I love them and have all Now cards printed so far and many extras. Just got on this site and trying to figure it out to help me keep track...
Biggest thing is these are not digital cards..I've got thousands in hand. They are $9 from Topps if you buy one but you can buy multiples from many people who buy in bulk and pre-sell them ($3.99 if you buy 20) and you can normally get them off eBay or a buyer like me for $5 as long as you pick it up at release.
No chance I’d ever try to chase them all for my team but I really like the ones I have. Occasionally the team sets will even have a player you can’t find elsewhere on your team. Some “moments” are cooler than others and I definitely pick those up at release for a good price. Love getting the these cards signed as well. Way nicer than the Living set which I personally find hideous
Joe May! Great to see you on TCDB!!! Welcome aboard!!
Great people here!
Everyone else: Joe May is Mr Topps Living and Mr Topps Now and is a wealth of information that he readily shares. Hit him up on any questions about these sets by Topps!
Joe: I hope you use the database to get your cards on here. Can't wait to see what all you have. :)

I didn't team collect 2016 and looking at the cards I missed, there isn't any I feel like I need except one. I should have picked up the Dae-Ho Lee rookie when I had a chance. At it's current price of $40 it's just not worth it
