Now that the function is available, should this product be listed as three parallel sets (Platinum Red, Platinum Blue & Platinum Gold) with no specific base? The cards that are currently listed as the base are the Platinum Red set.
I'm happy to submit the IR(s), I just wondered if anyone else has a strong opinion before making a unilateral decision.

Precedent from PP Stealth putting Chrome (Hobby in at least one case) as Base and Retail as a Parallel
Seems to be about the same thing...
Either set should work as the base....
When I get ahead enough on other brands, my worry will be more in finding them to collect, than how to list them in my PC....

It's clear from the SNs that the Red is the base set, as it was more plentiful. It shouldn't change.

More plentiful is base? Then how come in football (see Panini Absolute) we keep listing Hobby as base?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I'm not sure on those, honestly.

Allow me to clarify just a little.
With the football hobby / retail - those are different sets that come in different packs/boxes/cases, with (mostly) the same inserts.
With these (Pinnacle Certified), all cards were in the same packs/boxes/cases. Red was slearly identified by Pinnacle at the time that it was the base set, with Blue & Gold as the parallels.

My thinking is that, the way it is listed now, the name of the red set is incomplete because if we call it "Totally Certified Platinum Red", then the blue set would show up as "Totally Certified Platinum Red - Platinum Blue" and the gold set would be "Totally Certified Platinum Red - Platinum Gold". Having all sets listed as parallels with no base would allow each set to carry the complete, correct name.
I know it's not the biggest issue in the database, but it caught my eye today.
