1988 Donruss Base Set vs Factory Set

Can someone explain to me the difference between these 2 sets? ------------------------------- AwgyDawgy Looking for Cubs and Bears "I fight on my knees."

Sometimes the front borders are reversed. Most of the time the text on the back wraps to the lines differently.

Just as a side note - this was done before Admin's change of stance that these should actually be variations, not a parallel set.

Also, if you had gone to the set's forum page (https://www.tcdb.com/Forum.cfm/Page/S/ID/119/1988-Donruss) you would have seen how extensively this has already been covered.

Will these cards be moved from a parallel set to variations? I've just been going through these variations (thanks to the quarantine) and I've noticed that some factory set vs. retail set cards don't have a difference (i.e., the DK's, Stan Musial card, RIpken family). Because there's no differences between these specific cards, they really shouldn't have two entries, right?

You are correct. One (or many) of us will have to work with Admin to get these together and then identify those with no variation.
