So both of the sites, Leaf and Carboard Connection do not list any printing plates for this set but there are some showing up on eBay. There are 4 colors as per the set but none of the printing plates sets have been inputed. My gut is that there is no definitive proof that a full set run of printing plates was released. Should I leave them blank until it can be proven more definitive or since Beckett says they exist is that definitive enough? Any help would be great.

So ironic that you'd ask this question tonight as I ran into a very similar situation myself - tonight. Just the opposite - no proof of these cards existing, but they're here on the DB and they are in Beckett. However, my old Hockey Beckett's never show that the set exists - even 3 years out. (It's the 1997-98 Pacific Revolution Red parallel.) We were so heavy into collecting Yzerman, Lapointe, McCarty, & Osgood that if the cards existed, we had them. We even have quite a few of the really low print run cards. We have no Revolution Reds. I don't even have them in my ancient (but very thorough) player checklists. Beckett has ZERO images of them. None are on the Marketplace, COMC, or ebay. There may be a few on Sportlots, but no photos to verify it.
As for your situation, I'd guess that if there are press plates out there, they would have done it for the full run.

I have generally found Beckett to be pretty reliable. They usually don't just take a few collectors' word whether a set exists or not. They usually won't list a set unless they have found some sort of evidence that it exists themselves. As for the set you mentioned vroomed, I do know for a fact it exists, I have about 20-25 of the 1997-98 Revolution Red parallels (none of any Red Wings though), I do think they were probably pretty difficult to get a hold of though, because I got all of mine through a second-hand repackaging company that likes to put rare and unusual sets in its packages. I have thousands of cards from them that I had no clue ever existed, and a great many of those weren't on here, or even on Beckett when I first got them.

Which makes me wonder ... We had a subscription to Beckett back then - and I have a Hockey Beckett from April 2001 - which does not list them in the price guide (or make any mention of them) - this is 3 years after their release. Now, they exist? Odd.

Beckett lists more than a handful of cards that do not exist. They also have a bad habit of listing sets twice under different names. Sadly, they refuse to correct any of their older listings.
