Shouldn’t EVERY CARD HERE have an UER on it due to WORLD CHAMPIONS on the backs?

Now I’m questioning 30 years ago quality control with TCMA!  

How did THAT happen!?  They lost in the World Series to easily one of the top 3-5 significant teams of the day, maybe even still All-Time, in terms of not only memorabilia collector significance, but mainstream culture and the sport at large.  And all the cards in this set note the team they defeated as the World Champs!?

Just odd.

Since it affects the whole set, it can go in the Release Notes.

Still, a major error on TCMA’s part.  Yeah it’s more than 30 years ago and the company ceased operations less than a decade later, and it was more of a collector’s market product as opposed to Topps and the next year’s Fleer and Donruss.

But still, I wonder if they got called out for it in the SCDs of the day, or whatever was the 1980 version of Beckett.
