Cards that were not meant to be released are generally not listed here. The origin can be questionable and why have a database of items that were not intended to be collected. There are a ton of Fleer cards that made it onto the secondary market after the bankruptcy missing serial numbers, not die-cut when they should be, etc. You’ll often see them listed as “proofs” or samples. In general I feel they’re valued less than the pack released cards because collectors want to track down the cards in the condition they were actually released in. That said, some higher profile players or guys with dedicated player collector followings can bring a little bit of a premium at times.
