We have the pog cards listed, but should we also have the individual pogs listed? I have a few that were removed from the card. I think it would be similar to some of the full panel, individual card sets like Hostess, box bottoms, etc.

Your logic seems correct as they seem to fit the basic criteria for inclusion, but I'm not a decision-maker in this case. BUT...
I did just add one of the cards to my Want List as I was unaware of this insert set.

Hi, just bumping this thread up as I forgot I had asked about it and was going through these today. Should the separated POGs be a separate insert set?

Based on all other cards of this nature, the simple answer is yes.
I'll take care of that right now.

POGs set added here:
https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/sid/259402
Please note that some POGs are double printed on the cards, and are therefore only listed once (with DP in the Note field).

I wonder did these actually get released? I know there were some sets planned from Ted Williams Cards that were never released due to the company going bankrupt.

Someone sent me 1 of the POG cards in a team lot (wasn't for the correct team, but no biggie). I imagine these were in fact released in the product.

Yes, the POG cards were definitely inserted in packs. I've still got my loose ones I punched out back then, and I've traded for several unpunched ones recently.
