"Pee-Wee Herman" is set up as a fictional human but "Paul Reubens" is used as an alias for "Pee-Wee Herman"
Either Pee-Wee Herman needs to be treated as a completely independent fictional person and Paul Reubens as a completely independent non-fictional human, or Pee-Wee Herman needs to be changed to a non-fictional human and add Paul Reubens information.

Admin is the only one that can change profile names. I've sent him the request and we'll see what he says.

Actually, since Pee-Wee Herman has only been portrayed by Reubens, The PID should be Reubens and Pee-Wee should be an alias of Reubens. There was no need to involve Admin.
Edit to add: Now I see that there wasn't a PID for Reubens yet. I understand why you've involved Admin. PID should be changed to Reubens and Pee-Wee should be added as an alias.

Dan, my message to Admin was to request a profile name and Alias swap on this PID, but I also wanted to get his thoughts on an approach for actors/actresses being the profile name and any characters they portray (which could potentially include wrestlers) as Aliases.

Only problem with that is an alias can only be used by one PID. Multiple PIDs cannot have the same alias; database won't allow it. For example, the alias "Superman" can only be used with one actor's PID.

In cases where a character is portrayed by multiple actors/actresses (Batman, Bozo the Clown, Spider-Man, etc.), those could still be one-offs. I'm thinking about cases where we have separate PIDs for an actor and a character where they were the only one that portrayed him/her. I'm also thinking about how to better deal with wrestling PIDs where we currently have one wrestler name as an Alias on a different wrestler character name, with the real name also an Alias on that first wrestler name. It becomes a big mess but would be easier to manage if we have the real name as the profile name then all wrestlers they portrayed as Aliases, then if down the line they portray someone else, we can just pop the new name onto the existing profile as an Alias.

Admin completed the swap and Reubens is now the profile name with Pee-Wee as an Alias
