I knew this day would come as she had been ill for a while.

She was brilliant in 1 of my early and favorite movies Mad Max.

Death is 1 of the worst inventions ever.

It won't mean much to most here (mainly just the Australian and New Zealanders) but I still have amazing memories of her from when she was the "voice" of the NRL (rugby league) from 1989 to the mid '90s. Tina Turner and Simply the Best will always be synonymous with rugby league for me and I am sure many others. Rest in peace.

And she still haunts me as the Acid Queen in The Who's rock opera Tommy. Can't get those needles out of my eyes.
