I see multiple reports online saying that Julie Strain's reported death was a false alarm. Maybe someone with more time than me should research, and remove her date of death if needed?

The January 2020 report was false. Looks like the 2012 report may be true.

I'm pretty sure she's alive, haven't seen any recent reports or mentions of her death

So there have been multiple fake death reports for her, over the years? That's something.

According to IMDB she is alive but according to The Pit she passed away yesterday Jan 10,2021 so conflicting reports. Until I see something more I will go with IMDB as opposed to The Pit and assume she is still alive
