Sad to read of the passing of Gaylord Perry. I am lucky in that I got to watch him pitch for the Mariners on a couple occasions. Thank you sir for 22 years in The Show

Gaylord Perry was a great pitcher and a great SF Giant, among others. It was great watching him pitch at Candlestick when I was growing up. What a pitcher, what a magician, what a showman. He always kept hitters baffled and off balance with his offerings. I have an autographed jar of Vasoline from Gaylord. You will be missed.
