Dustin Pedroia is announcing his retirement today.  He has pretty much missed the last three seasons due to injury.  I remember when he was first coming up and playing for the Red Sox.  I thought he sucked...haha!  I was wrong.  Piss off this little guy and he will prove you wrong.  Way to go and thanks for everything!

Hated him only becausse he played for the Red Sox.  A gritty player who proved that if you have guts and will, you can do just as well (or better) what the big guys can.

We'll miss The Laser Show, heart and soul of the team. Hopefully karma strikes Machado for ruining a building HOF case. Not biased either, look at his record....

Good luck in the future, Pedey! (Or as my Yankee-rooting father-in-law called him "That little $h!t") I'm completely biased here, but I think he deserves serious Hall of Fame consideration. His stats don't quite measure up, but when you factor in all the awards he's won and the 3 World Series rings (two of which he was a major contributor in), I think it's enough to put him in.

Sad to see him go out this way with the injuries the last few years. I was hoping to see him healthy one more time. He probably doesn't have the numbers/longevity for HOF consideration... but he'll be an all timer for the Red Sox with the ROY, MVP and multiple World Series wins. And he was a joy to watch!
