I was really hoping the announced trade would be to St. Louis, not Yankees. He blocked the trade. Bum. I guess we persevere and go for Harper next year? I assume this trade means NYY is out of the running for Harper next year?

Also... "Jeter buys Marlins, trades their best player to Yankees" should be the headline in every Sunday paper tomorrow. Smells a little fishy to me...
