That is a bit bizarre. Wikipedia has it listed as June 20. They're not always correct, granted. Seems like Panini somehow got the wrong info in their database.

NBA and ESPN both have it as the 20th so I'd go with that

Looks to me Panini had the wrong date and so most their cards (or all) that year had the incorrect date. It looks like it was corrected in future years.

That's cool BigEd76!
So the 20th it is... I guess ESPN, NBA, Wikipedia and Basketballreference.com are reliable sources to go with.
Thought about tweeting to ask Luke but he hasn't tweeted for years...

Don't use Wiki as a source. Although mostly correct, it can be changed by anyone at any time.
Try to use the site of the league a player was in, and if they're no longer available on that, ESPN is 99.99% accurate on the bios. The "-reference.com" sites are about 99.99% too

Panini cant even get their own card numbers right on checklists. I'm amazed they get any player birthdays right!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Panini getting something wrong, I'm shocked!
Almost all of Elton Brand's cards have the wrong hometown. Most list Cortland NY, which is up by Buffalo. But he was actually born in Cortlandt NY, which is Peekskill. The T makes all the difference. My mom and brother were born in the same hospital as he was. Cortland and Cortlandt are roughly 8 hours away from each other.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
