Indeed, a very sad Day for those of Us that "bleed" Dodger Blue! Some of my best moments in Life were the ones with Tommy in Dodger Town, Florida, across several years. He will be so greatly missed!! Such a tremendous Baseball Man & Lifer and certainly helped to make me a better baseball player, coach and Baseball Lifer . . .
Yours in The Journey - Felix

Too many of the childhood names I learned as Greats are leaving us.

I believe he was the oldest living HOFer. Glad that he was able to move on to eternity with a Dodgers championship.

I was able to get his autograph at a Cardinal / Dodger Spring Training game in 2004, I think. I was sitting in an aisle seat and noticed in the 2nd or 3rd inning he was sitting across the aisle 2 rows down. I waited until the 6th inning and when it looked like he was going to leave I gave my 10 year old daughter a baseball and asked if she would approach him for an autograph. She agreed and Mr Lasorda graciously signed it. That opened the floodgates and 7-8 people then walked over. He signed for everyone and then walked over to the dugout and disappeared. A true ambassador for the game.

I love his feistiness and compassion for the game
i remember in little league 4grade I was on the Dodgers team. So I watched as many games of the Dodgers that summer then I was traded to the Braves the next year and then the Rangers is where I stayed until my freshman year of high school
I also remember back in 2003 how excited I got when I bought the last pack of bowman heritage 2003 real one autograph of Tommy. Still have the card to this day.
(Every time I see 1paxk of cards left in a box I buy it. I got several great cards but that lonely pack)

An all-around ambassador for the sport of baseball no matter where it's played. A baseball lifer and a truly great manager. Got to meet him at the last Chantilly show I went to. It's a really sad day for baseball. Rest in peace Tommy. To Dodger fans everywhere you have my condolences.

Tommy was baseball. It's a sad day for all fans of the game.
I hope you all raise a glass to him, as I will.
