Passed away yesterday at 77 from Alzheimer's, less than a week after being placed in hospice. One of the best NFL head coaches to never reach the Super Bowl. R.I.P. ------------------------------- * Ed * L8 * Cards in my personal Collection are unavailable *

Such a cruel disease; the last interview I saw him do (in which he forgot what state he lived in) was tough to watch.

He was a great football mind, and the league should feel honored that he was a member.

Yes, it is. I know it all too well. My mother passed away due to it back in 2012, coincidently at roughly the same age. It's harder on the loved ones than it is on the individual who has it. May Brian and the rest of the Schottenheimer family find peace and comfort.
