Yep Bonds and all the other cheats should be removed from the record books (making Maris the single season leader again)

I was super excited in 1976 when I received 10 packs of cards for Christmas and Hank was included.

Rest In Peace Hammerin' Hank. I don't care what the numbers say, Henry Aaron will always be the home run king to me. I remember following his pursuit of the Babe in 1973 and 1974. He had to put up with so much crap and hate mail, yet he always handled it with total class. It culminated with his record breaking shot off Al Downing for #715. I still remember jumping up from the dinner table and running into the living room to hear Vin Scully make the call and see Billy Buckner scale the left field fence in a vain attempt to catch the ball. An unforgettable historic moment provided by an unforgettable player.

Very sad day. We are losing a lot of Hall of Famers and now one of the GOATs. He is always the home run king.

Another day of having a sunken feeling in the pit of my stomach when I saw this. Too many guys that were sports icons when I was a kid passing. I must be getting old.

Very sad indeed. I was fortunate enough as a child to hae watched him play many times in Cincinnati. RIP Mr. Aaron, the Home Run King.
