Why is Charles Manson showing up in the Memoriam list? Someone would have input the person themselves because the database doesn't auto-update when someone passes away. I don't find it even mildly amusing. Like seriously!?

He died, someone entered his death date under the PID.
There's nothing more to it than that.

A despicable human being even in death.

I don't know if there would be a way of removing him, short of removing his Date of Death until five more people with cards die. Contrary to what someone said, it is automated, in that the site looks for the five most recent dates of death, regardless of who the person is. It would probably take a complete re-programming to make him go away otherwise.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

In deference to the general concensus, I have removed the death date from the PID. I will add it back (or someone else might) in a few days (after I see Terry Glenn go off the page).
Meanwhile, I entered Della Resse's death date earlier today, and she still hasn't appeared on the front page.
Edit: Manson's gone, Reese is there (I guess the other 4 were all today).

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 10/25/2023). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

Thanks. I'm the last guy to get offended about anything, but even I saw his "In Memorium" in poor taste even though I knew it wasn't anyone that actually made a conscience decision to do it.
