Can you imagine all the things I’d have seen in my life? Perhaps I’d be retired by now 😂

Yeah, but you'd be constantly on the lookout for The Kurgan wanting to chop your head off...

there can be only one :)
Wow, by comparison to the rest of this thread I am a fetus. I lurked on TCDB for several years before registering an account. This is the only way I've been able to see cards released before I was born (1975 Topps Nolan Ryan I'm looking at you), in addition to clear portraits of past greats (1975 Topps Nolan Ryan I'm looking at you ).

When I was new to TCDB, I was nervous about mailing more than a couple cards using PWE, and a very nice user told me he'd been doing it for 35 years (a year longer than my age) and not to worry about it. I love that this site allows us to connect across generations, and for newer collectors to learn from people who have been doing it for a while.

John,
I think all of old Tradingbases members are in our late 60's, 70's. Not sure when you joined TB, but I started trading there in 1995. There's a good number of us here now. I guess we'll all be trading as long as we can. I turned 70 in June, so hopefully I have a few more years ahead of me.
