Yeah, I just discovered it as it was incorporated into baseball-reference.com
A lot of fun.

I'll just say that I batted .333. I thought the category was for all the squares instead of only the column.

I don't understand the scoring. For Grid 102 I got a Rarity score of 205 with 9 correct answers. It says that the rarity score is based on the percentages for each one selected. This means that if you pick the top-picked players you get a high score vs low picked players which I imagine you get a lower score? It shows what the most commonly picked players are but it does not show what that combination's rarity score is.
So is a rarity score of 205 good or bad? A good amount of players I ended up picking were at 1% or lower. If I had picked Rickey Henderson (26%) instead of Jesse Hahn (0.1%), would I have gotten a higher rarity score?

Looks like you add the percentages up of all your correct picks and add a 100 per empty box. So your score is pretty fantastic. Well played!

You want the lowest possible rarity score. Lots of folks will put Miguel Cabrera in the Tigers/500 HR box, but there were two other guys who also played for the Tigers and hit 500 homers, so you get more (well, technically less) "points" for getting the rarer guy.

I did select Cabrera but got some pretty rare ones in some of the other boxes. Down to one box I can't think of anybody. Not giving up quite yet...
