My niece will be in Italy in April so I gave her some cash to look for me. I'll try to remember to comment back here if she finds anything.

As it is, I have a couple 90s era Basketball cards on my for trade list right now that are in Italian, Spanish and Portuguese if anyone is interested in making an offer for any of them. Not many total, maybe a dozen of all three put together.

As I opined in a recent WBC thread, I think a brand such as Panini, having recently been bumped out of the MLB game, would do well to try an international set of some sorts. Focus on stars from around the world. There is very much more than the MLB, NPB, KBO, CPBL, etc out there, and each league has it's own stars.

Given that Panini is probably the brand with the widest global reach, I am surprised they haven't done more with baseball outside the US. They do the occasional set in Venezuela, but pretty much do nothing but cartoons, movies and soccer/football around the rest of the world.
