I don't know why it took me this long to get into it but wow! Non-stop action. Very hard to score a goal but on the flip side, a 3 goal lead can be wiped away in a minute. Power play?? Nerve wracking. No B.S. fouls being called and constant play stoppage. I tried watching a basketball game again last night and was getting frustrated with all the play stoppage. I began watching about 2 weeks ago and have not missed a Rangers game since. Some of the rules/strategies are still confusing to me but i am sure ill catch on. I have been to about 4 Rangers games in the past but never really dug in.
Thanks for reading about my excitement! Lets go Rangers!

I believe you said "a really good team" but then said Leafs. I'm confused 😉 that being said, I'm a Habs fan so currently have no leg to stand on. Exciting but not "really good" yet

Congrats to you and your Rangers for picking up Patrick Kane from Chicago. He should make watching hockey even more enjoyable for you.

Welcome to my favorite sport. NCAA hockey in particular is so much fun to watch. My Minnesota Golden Gophers are the odds-on favorite to win the National Championship this year. Tournament starts three weeks from tomorrow.

I tried asking who Patrick Kane was on twitter. Meaning compare him to someone else from another sport- Who did the Rangers just acquire? Albert Pujols? Great player at the end of his career?

As for hockey, I don't watch or follow, BUT I do collect the sport.

Welcome aboard I discovered the NHL in the late sixties and have been hooked ever since. As someone above me said wait 'til playoffs, those games do indeed go to 11, LET'S GO PENS!
