Sport and non-sport cards, stamps, coins, and comic books growing up. Still have it all, but I'm primarily football cards now. I also have a VERY large collection of Penn State autographs. Luckily, my wife is a huge fan and allows me to have my Penn State den to display it all. I haven't actively sought in-person autographs for years... guess it became too much of a hassle. The wife collects shot glasses - one for each of the places she's visited. 

After my retirement I started collecting logo golf balls. I probably have about 200 that were found on my local golf courses.

i collect 1.00 bills and every 6 months it pays for my car insurance.  I usually have a little over 1,000 1.00 bills

i collect 10.00 bills and store them into a brief case and use them for a rainy day. Currently i have about 5k in 10.00 bills

i collect antiques toys,furniture, glass, and whatever else catches my eye at the time.  I dont go looking for them and if something nice pops up i get it if the price is right.  My recent acquisition was a 1881 wood and cast iron horse tricycle. I paid 90.00 for it. I seen others in museums so i couldnt pass this up for that price

I collect guitars, i have 3 acoustics, 14 electric, 1 lap steel, 1 bass, 2 homemade electrics, bought some vintage electrics for cheap with mini repairs needed and fixed them all up, i have them all up on my walls in my man cave :)

I think I might've missed this topic the first time it came around. I love reading the answers people give, as it gives me a better picture of who some of my fellow website members are behind the screenname.

What I've collected:

—When I was in elementary school, I collected coins. My dad would go to the bank, get a couple of 50 cent rolls of pennies, and I'd go through them to find any that had a wheat picture on the back. I stopped collecting coins by the time I was in fifth grade (and got into baseball cards pretty heavy), and my mother took it over. She gave me the collection once when we moved, and it's still with me. For sentimental value, I'll always keep it.

—I collected game programs for the longest time, although that kind of stopped about 10 or 15 years ago. I still have a bunch of college football programs and some from major league baseball games. If I go to a really special game, I'll still get a program and save it. 

—I enjoy going to about 20 to 22 MLB games a year and like to get the souvenir drink cups, the mini-helmets that ice cream comes in, and those T-shirt jerseys of various players. Also, although I never meant to do so, I collect bobbleheads. I've never bought one but kept all the ones from various stadium giveaways.

It's funny, because I never would've paid a cent for any of them, but if they're going to give them away, I want one. I'll even show up early. In the bookcases in my guest bedroom, I've got the bobbleheads (and other items I've gotten through baseball stadium giveaways) displayed. My dad seems to appreciate the display as much as anyone.

I collected Notre Dame memorabilia which I parted with about 3 years ago when my empty nest lead my wife and I to condo life.

I collect autographed Chicago Cubs baseballs.

I collect Chicago Cubs shirts and jerseys. I haven't bought any in past couple of years. At last count I had over 30.

I also collect Hard Rock Cafe tee-shirts.

Seems lately I've collected surgeries.

When I was younger I used to collect it all man you name it, but the was when I was a kid and didn't have bills or other Adult worries or responsibilities lol Cards, Coins , Comics , Stamps , Badges / Patches , Star Wars toys , G.I. Joe toys , HO scale Train stuff., Ties 

 Now I would say mostly cards , Ties that are cool / silly , Occasional Amazing Spiderman comic the old stuff. Baby Yoda / Grogu

I collected comics for a long time but have stop many years ago. Now I collect all thing hockey as my first passion. I also collect Star Wars and Batman memorabilia as well as Funko Pop figures

My wife and I like books. She reads a lot more than I do but we have about 7000 books in the house. 

I also collected growlers from different craft breweries back when I could drink some. I have about 50 different growlers.

I have some Starting Lineup and McFarlane sport figures as well as some others that I collected a few years ago but do not anymore.

When I was a kid I collected shot glasses because my dad traveled a lot for the Air Force and he would bring one home every trip. I still have most of them but I don't collect them anymore.

Now I collect Aladdin kerosene lamps, and any interesting center draft kerosene lamps I find.  They need to be at least 100 years old for me to consider them.  I also collect patches of parks, the Old Reel Collectors Association, or any other patch that looks interesting when I travel.  I put the patches all over the inside of my carpeted camper shell for my truck.
