Hey there! I am looking to get myself a scanner for both cards and other things like work. What scanner do you use? Do you have any recommendations? If possible, I'd prefer to use a device that is only a scanner to save space but I am open to hearing all of the options. Thanks in advance!

I use a Mustek A4 large format scanner. I've had the thing a long time!! I'm not sure they even make them, but I can scan 16 cards at a time.

Epson XP-6000. Scans are the only thing I use it for, but it can print, copy, etc.

I use a Cannon TS8220.
it was relatively inexpensive, but still provides high-quality scanning capabilities as long as you don't have to scan multiple page document. Works perfectly for cards.

CanoScan LiDE300
I've had it a few years, can do 9 cards at a time. Comes out with decent quality.

I could probably buy the already complete sets cheaper somewhere else, but I like getting my maildays.

I've been using an Epson V600 for a little over two years now. It has scanned thousands of cards and keeps going strong. One of the nice things about this one is that it's a CCD scanner which means it has a greater depth of field than a CIS scanner and will scan graded cards or cards in magnetic one touches while keeping the image of the card sharp. They do cost a few hundred dollars though.

No recommendation fir scanner, as mine is an old Epson from I dont even know when that could surely be upgraded 5 times over, BUT.... I would highly recommend Autosplitter over whatever software your scanner comes with. At least for doing multiple cards. It makes multiple items on the scan bed so much easier. I promise you I have no affiliation other than loving the thing for makin life sellin cards so much easier. here's a link

I just bought a Fujitsu 7030 automatic feed that scans both sides at once. It should arrive today. I'll let you know. (If you see 3642 new scan from me in the database, it's working well) :)

I'm continually entering tradeable inventory. Full want lists are at https://thecollectivemind.blogspot.com/p/baseball-wants.html Use the green tabs to navigate. Have entered 1994 thru 2021 baseball and 2009 thru 2020 football so far. Don't have many newer than 2020 except A&G in baseball, and very little beyond 2019 in football. My extra hockey is older than that. The best I have for a tradelist otherwise is https://thecollectivemind.blogspot.com/search/label/Disperse%20the%20Hoard
