What an awesome moment for Albert! 700 home runs would amazing but I'm just satisfied seeing Pujols become the 4th all-time leader in homers.

He deserves it! He deserves 700, he deserves a lot of things. Maybe the best player in the 21st century if I do say so myself.

When the Cardinals signed him I gave him about a 40% chance to get to 700.
I told my family and friends that I hoped he would get to 700 but I'd be happy as long as he passed A-Rod.
Thankfully that's happened. (Not a fan of Alex Rodriguez.)
I got to watch him play many years with the Cardinals. Very happy he's been given the opportunity to end his HOF career back here in St. Louis.
Here's hoping for at least 3 more home runs before the end of the season.

I almost went to Memphis Redbirds game sat night for the promo of the Pujols bobblehead of the legendary red seat. But it rained alot, bummer...

I'm happy to see him pass A-Rod. Glad to see this resurgence at the end of his HOF career. I think he will get to 700. I been saying for weeks that pitchers should just let him get there. With they way the last mo th and half has been for him, he would still have 1 more year in him to get to third. Shame this will be his last year.

I wanted him to get to 700, but if he didn't it wouldn't bother me if he passed A-Rod or not. That said, I really wish he'd play one more year just to pass Babe Ruth, thats the one I really want to see taken down a peg (or down the list). I just think if he could have made it if the first Covid season wasn't shortened and they played a full year. I know he won't reconsider, but man I hope he does. Looking at the active list who can even get this close to 700 now? I'm not so sure Trout can anymore, is it Judge? I say this without watching hardly any MLB this year and only going off of this site and coming across scores time to time.
