I joined TCDb last month and have been uploading cards starting with my Non-Sports cards and Upper Deck racing cards. As I was doing this I noticed I still had a card I had purchased for my draughter back in the 90's of a dophin and set it aside as I was working on another set. Now two days later I still can't find it to upload. Memory must really be going. Turn seventy next month. Anyone else experience such brain farts? 

All day, everyday... No matter how much I try to organize, there's always the one (hundred!) that I could have sworn I put right, now where was that again????

Oh I've been there. I'm still looking for cards I misplaced in like 2012. I'm sure they are still here in some box but I just have to find which one. Sadly they are cards I got in 1989 and mean a great deal to me, too. 

Been there, done that. Frustrating as all h***.  It is because of this that about 7-8 years ago I started putting more thought into how I organize my collection including it reflecting somewhat how this site is organized (for good or bad). Does it still happen? Yes but now  more often only on those oddball items such as oversized cards.

I double check everything when I enter it on the site, periodically review what's in every box, and still can't find one or two out of every hundred when I try to pull them for trades. As my nephew used to say, those "must have been eaten by monsters."

Probably because it was a Dolphins card it dissappeared , same as they do 2 weeks into the season (lol) ....... If it was a "Patriots" card  it would be sitting right on the top of your pile !!!

I interpeted it as being a non-sport card with the picture of the dolphin sea creature not the Miami football team. I could be wrong though.

Yep i bought a hobby box and pulled the Juan Soto auto and to this day i cant find the box.  The cards are still in the original box snd wrappers but i put them down in my small house and i still cant find them. I even emptied my garage and resorted things and still no box.  Oh well one day it will pop up when i least expect it to (i will be 47 later this month " I think")

Missing cards... rarely. Anything else that's missing when I thought I knew where I put it... all the time!

Yup, I've misplaced my Prizm Dak rookie and 3 variations of KDs topps rookies. No idea where they went, I didn't sell them, they're just gone into the void. I've checked every 3 and 5 row box I have two or three times. Like, give me a break Card Gods. Haha.
