I went through cataract surgery on my right eye on Thursday, the 19th. Let me say this: the difference between the vision in my right and left eye was fantastic!
Looking through my right eye, everything is clear, colors are vibrant, and I no longer need glasses to see distance. My left eye, however, was like looking through a yellowish-green filter that desperately needed cleaning!
I had a week to compare the two, then, today, the 26th, the surgery was done on my left eye.
I don't know what the difference will be, but I'm sure it will be comparable to my right eye. My eye is still dilated, and I have a patch over it...until Friday morning. Then, we will see!
You don't realize how bad your vision gets with cataracts until you have to have them taken out.
I believe many referees/umpires need to have this surgery as well.
Trades are turned off for now.
