I thought it was a fantastic race. Very entertaining and exciting. Races at Fontana don't usually have that much excitement. As the FOX guys said several times, the Stage 1 winner always wins the race. Didn't happen this year and there were a ton of lead changes. I hope Vegas shows us the same excitement this Sunday.

Great race Makiong the drivers work for it this year. But IMO, There is no way Larson didnt see Elliott coming. Just covering his butt. But would rather see Kyle than Chase in Victory Lane.

Now that was a great race, I still say Truex had the best car but needed 10 laps for it to comein. Glad Bowman to the checkered. But leave it to Kryle to show how classless he really is. Wow.
Looks like all 3 manufacturers are starting to figure out the new car

I really enjoyed that race. It was very competitive throughout the race across all brands and most teams. Trackhouse and 23XI were in the mix with the big boys all day. It's a shame that the good runs by Suarez and Bubba were ruined by other drivers not being able to hang on to their cars. I really did want to see the battle b/t Rowdy and Truex to the end of the race. That late caution blew it. But at least there has been a different winner in every race so far. Also, after 3 races, there have been 25 different drivers post a Top-10 finish. That hasn't happened in Cup for over 30 years. The only driver to get a Top-10 in all 3 races is Almirola. How about that turn of events after the horrible season he had last year? And this is his final season too. That's a really good way for him to start the season. But still, 25 drivers getting a Top-10 out of the 41 drivers that have raced this year is a promising sign that this new car has leveled the playing field some. For those doubting the math: there were 40 cars in the D500, just the 36 charter cars in Fontana and 37 cars in Vegas (Biffle in the #44 was the extra one). It you look at the Cup Points Standings, they only show 37 drivers but they don't count anyone not racing for points in the Cup Series. Here's who they are missing: The #50 car was Grala and the #52 was Gragson at Daytona only. The #77 was Cassill at Daytona and Bilicki for Fontana and Vegas. BTW, the #15 car was driven by David Ragan to an 8th place finish in the 500. Smithley has driven that car for the past 2 races finishing 21 and 30. It's been a really fun season to watch so far and I hope it keeps going that way!

I know there are a lot of reasons as to why NASCAR went done in popularity but part of my theory is that we have driver fatigue in Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski. They all ran a majority of almost all the top three series for several years and dominated a lot of it. Also they aren't that likable compared to other drivers.

As the saying goes ---
NASCAR is it's own worst enemy.....
Like other sports, it got to big for it's britches and became an "Entertainment" event,
as much as a competition....
Nascar folded to get better TV ratings, it didn't get more fans, actually cut down on them....

I still feel like Nascar has to remember that cautions are for safety, and not entertainment.

My mom is having a fit because of the showgirls' outfits.
Actually fairly mild from earlier years IIRC.....
Only caught a passing glimpse, though myself, thought they might be pistons....

That went out the door when the caution clock came into existence.
