Wow, George Plimpton just earned even more points in my book for that secret message. And overall that's a great article from a fantastic writer.

I'd also recommend some of his books, like Open Net or Paper Lion, where he trains with a professional sports team for a period of time and documents his experiences throughout. Excellent reading for sports fans.
