There is a great 30 for 30 ESPN special on Finch. I'm not a Mets fan, so I'm kind of glad he didn't pan out in the long run. But I remember seeing that article in SI back in the day and wondering if I'd have rather seen him every 5 days as a starter or 2 of every 3 days as a closer. Neither struck me as a great option.

I never noticed that. My uncle was a scout for the Mets in the 80's and 90s. I remember my cousin laughing about Sidd Finch, telling us we needed to get the SI before it came out.
